We are seeking a Great Plains Software Developer/ Administrator. We would like someone very knowledgeable with GP who can build, maintain, migrate, and customize. This position has the opportunity to grow into an IT Director role.
Responsibilities
- Build customizations for the company's Dynamics GP system
- Modify GP modules and third party products
- Implement modules and third party products as needed
- Design and create integrations with Dynamics GP and third-party products
- Design and develop reports on SQL based platforms, including SSRS, Crystal Reports or others as required
- Write and troubleshooting TSQL code
- Perform SQL server administration as needed
- Assist in any upgrades and/or transitions of Dynamics GP2010
- Maintain and develop customer portals
- Build Integrations with third party partners and customers
- Automate Supply chain
- Report to executive staff
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of MS Dynamics GP / Great Plains experience
- 4+ years with .NET development
- 4+ years of MS SQL as well as SSRS - developing Microsoft SQL custom tables/views, stored procedures, triggers, indexing and performance optimization
- Experience with:
- Visual Studio Toolkit for GP
- Management Reporter for Microsoft Dynamics ERP
- Dynamics GP core financials and distribution functionality
- Dynamics GP / Great Plains integrations
- Strong knowledge and aptitude for Business Processes
- Ability to quickly adapt to new requirements and changing situations
- Ability to assess and recommend business process change.
- Research and recommend new solutions to address business needs.
